The
National
Peer Ministry Center
is located in Bloomington, MN.
WHAT?
Peer
Ministry Mission Statement
We
equip people with Christ-centered training, resources and support to be Peer Ministers. We train adult facilitators and youth in
practical ministry skills as requested by churches, camps, communities, colleges and other groups.
THEOLOGY?
We love
because he first loved us. I John 4:19
Peer
Ministry serves all Christian denominations. Our Christian roots are grounded in a theology of the cross. Our training
stems from the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10). We equip groups with relational skills for caring service to others.
We mostly train adult facilitators who have the freedom to shape the training to the particular mission and values of their
group.
Lyle Griner
Lyle believes all Christians are called to the ministry of caring.
As he equips people to share God's love, he affirms them for their gifts and challenges them to learn and apply new skills.
Lyle finds his work incredibly energizing!
